Look mom! We found a new use for that Tuscan bowl: Emerson sold seperately.
Our house just survived Tornado Virus. It's been atrocious... but we're recovering. And emerson was the only one up for taking pictures-- probably because throwing up and diareah are part of his daily do's anyway. He just thought the rest of us were wimps.

our little generals
Em is officially turning over both ways and has recently taken to the ol' "Jump-a-roo"
Jackson, our ever growing little man has developed an obsession with suspenders. He must be like his dad, an "old soul" .... a pipe is where i draw the line! Brian's not even allowed to start smoking one of those until his 60th birthday.

Highlights
These, surprisingly, are not the worst pictures I could conjure up of us... but they're in the top 10. I am "Medusa meets the Trojan man" and Brian is playing the role of:
... Well, we dont' know what Brian was doing. But that is often the case with us these days.
I think it's important to not always put your best foot forward, but.... to show people what REALLY goes on behind closed doors. Here we are in all our glory.

Brian's parents, Don and Connie are in this weekend to celebrate easter with us.
The ever brightening weather conditions unlock possibilities for us to explore. Yesterday it was the park and the beach, today... its the zoo.
Toured Sheila's apartment last night. It overlooks Main Street down town and is positioned right next to Festival Hall. She basically gets all the downtown entertainment for free from her roof-top... beautiful. I think we know where we're celebrating the 4th of July this year??
Anyway, things are well here. Only a week until my Grand Opening.
I'll post pics when they're available.
Shout out to all the fam in Maine right now. Miss you all. Mom, give Dan and Jim this blog site, okay?

ODE TO MIM
Ode to Mim:
This is Mim. She can swim. She does quite a bit, just on a whim. She's also nice and trim....and slim.
Okay, this is my mom. She's beautiful, isn't she? Since this is the Knapp family blog... I thought I'd post a picture that reflects some of the good looking genes that have trickled down into the boys.

Can you believe it?
Does it get much better than this?
Emerson is waking himself up at night by turning over... no matter how tight I swaddle him... hes' like a little magician... staring up at me at 3 in the morning eminating a deep "Viola!" Jackson, has started saying "Sheila" -- he looks for her face every morning in the upstairs bathroom before we head downstairs. She's generally there getting ready for work and they have their morning greetings.
I read somewhere today that "those who unlock your compassion are those to whom you've been assigned"
Think about that.
