Strike a Pose!

jackson has been practicing for his debut recently. Has had very amusing photoshoots. I think we officially have a ham on our plate.
For grand-dad Knapp and Garnett, Jackson has been pointing to your pictures lately and asking for "Papa"-- it's the best way he knows how to say "grandpa"... so know that you are missed.
We love you!

Contemplative One

This is where Jackson contemplates life. Seriously, he loves his window seat. Just gazing out the window ... feeling the fresh air on his face. He easily spends 10 mins in this spot per day. He's spotted a cat from next door a couple of times and tries to "meow".

No matter how much space you subtract between you and these guys... they just keep getting cuter as they come closer.

Home away from Home

Jackson and Gabe are long lost buddies. Gabe won Jackson's heart so greatly that he even GAVE HIM HIS SNACK! For those of you who know Jackson, this is the greatest act of love.

Sunday: Moms' day
Spent the AM in the kitchen showing off our muscles- as one does ... on mothers day while waiting for punkin bread coming out of the oven.
duh.

Okay, Saturday Dinner at Schultz'

Celebrated AGAIN (yeah!!) our b-days at the Schultz' (Steve and Kellie)
This time all the kids got to come and have cake too! Glendon, Lina and Jack-- portfolios of the three amigos.

Glendon: about 3 ft. The quiet subtle type-- Big blue eyes and a killer smile, and he's oh! so generous.
Lina: 29 in or so... blonde and fair. Cuddly and in control. Karri says that Lina can be ferocious, but I'd have to see it to believe it. She's a cotton candy flavored jelly-bean to me.
Jack: 3ft or so. Out of control-- drama king. Lately, throws himself to his knees like a rockstar.. singing his heart out. Loves his friends! Constantly entertaining.

Here are the profiles of all three including the parents responsible for each. Great job guys!

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of HIm.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and observe His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments;

And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world;

And this is the victory that has overcome the world- our faith.

Dinner B-day Date

Sheila spoiled me rotten yesterday. a) She washed my floors! HELLO! b) She surprised me with real live plant life
c) She watched the boys so I could go shopping! WHAT!? d) She let me wear something I had bought and took me to dinner!! THANK YOU Sheila! I had the most wonderful time!
Flowers are from a very near and dear Jamelyn. She is too extravagant towards me.
Brian will come home from his Madison trip today-- The boys and I are so excited to welcome him home.

Had to post again...

The process of learning to eat a popcicle. From upside down to right side up--
1)" Learning to eat an orange popcicle"
can be checked off of Jackson's toddler "to do" list.

happy birthday to me

Today is my 26th birthday-- and Brian is out of town - so we decided that I would celebrate later. However, as it would be had-- I was celebrated anyway- without my consent. Today has been such a fabulous trail of surprises and joy. From my cuddle time with the boys this morning (who could honestly ask for anything more!?) to an extra dollup of unasked for whipped cream at Caribou Coffee. I've just been so richly celebrated today. Going out to dinner with Sheila tonight- wearing a new top. These little simple treasures are honestly priceless. Who has more than I do? I dare to ask. I am absolutely taken care of in every detail- and my smile puts a smile on God's face. So thank you, dear friends, who celebrated me today-- with fresh flowers and oatmeal cookies and running socks, and phonecalls. I am the wealthiest woman in the world.

Something to think about

I laughed when I saw this....
It makes you think of what you do every day- and why.
i have good reasons to do what i do.... Some people will hate this question, ... where as I have learned to really love it.

I love this picture. It was the 4th time we attempted to take it- genuine smiling makes anyone photogenic. Mike and Megan on the left- potential roomies in the Knapp bed and breakfast while they are closing on their new house.

Uncle Joe and Auntie Nikki

Had a fantastic time with Joe and Nikki- drank coffee round the clock ...
Simple. Real. Jackson has found friends for life!
Brian's off to Madison today - and thus begins the craze of our month...
Here's a few pics of our friends (Joe and Nik) with the boys. Love to you all,
Lindsay and Brian

The mystery of the Orange Car

Emerson is modeling the latest in Sambuka Gear. This particular shot indicates where the daily "toots" actually originate from..... yes, the orange car.
The "orange car" makes lots of noises, from "toots" to sputters and spurts.
Mommy: "Emerson! What was that noise!?"
Emerson: "What!? It was my orange car!-- be a dear, and check to see if the oil needs changed, would you?"

Oil does, infact, need to be changed. Smart kid.

Dirty Boy

T
Jackson - I can never resist you.... even when you're covered in peanut butter.
